Our God is so infinitely precious and full of compassion with a love that is beyond our finite imaginations! Yet, we can easily forget that He is also entirely righteous, holy and just. Every day we make choices that impact our relationship with Him, and each of these can hold far-reaching consequences that spill over beyond ourselves into the lives of others, either for good or bad.
In His infinite mercy, God provides us with second chances, again and again which we should take great care to respect, for He has set a point whereby there is a red line that no living mortal or nation can cross without facing dire consequences. Let’s place these things in the forefront of our intercessions as we pray for our beloved country. Added to this, the Bible makes clear statements about each nation who blesses or curses Israel and the Jewish people…
How then should do we pray for ungodly leaders of nations? We must plead with God in accordance with 2 Chronicles 7:14 and intercede with tears and urgent persistence, for there is a point whereby if the red line is crossed the ripple effect of God’s judgment will spill over beyond the individual to the many.

Now then is the time to raise a war cry in the battlefield of our intercessions with the sound of the shofar and a two-edged sword in our hand which is the Word of God! Now is the moment to stand in the gap, to occupy our time and contend for the
Kingdom of God!
Is this not what each one of us has been called to at such a time as this? But, who will sound the alarm and rally?
