FEAR NOT!

The Jewish people have frequently chosen assimilation over their set-apart calling to be a light among the nations which has inevitably led to tragic consequences: “I the Lord have called unto you in righteousness, and have taken hold of your hand, and submitted you as the people’s covenant, as a light unto the nations.” (Isa.42:6)
Shortly before the expulsion from Spain in 1492, many thought that exile would be averted with so many Jewish people occupying inner circles of government and other influential positions within society; assimilation would rule the day. They were wrong…
Similarly, many European Jews believed that assimilation would protect them from the Nazi Holocaust. Again, they were wrong. Strangely, even Adolf Hitler could not understand how they had survived thus far. In Mein Kampf, he wrote, “When over long periods of human history I scrutinised the activity of the Jewish people, suddenly there arose up in me the fearful question whether inscrutable destiny, perhaps for reasons unknown to us poor mortals, did not, with eternal and immutable resolve, desire the final victory of this little nation.”
The election of Trump as President of the USA in 2016 provided in short measure a buffer against the relentless demonic anti-Semitic agenda gathering momentum in all four corners of the world. Yet even if he wins the US elections in 2024 nothing will change what God has pre-ordained before the foundation of the world.
Out of the Spanish Inquisition, Columbus discovered America. Out of the ashes of the Holocaust was birthed the State of Israel. And out of ‘Jacob’s Trouble’ will emerge the greatest spiritual revival in history! “For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be ignorant of this mystery—lest you be wise in your own eyes—that a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way, all Israel will be saved.” (Rom.11:25-26)
God is faithful to His covenant promises amid the fragility of human imperfection! As we witness relentless apocalyptic events unfolding we can do no better than place our full confidence in the One who is in full control against the lawlessness and man-made orchestrated chaos pervading the planet! We stand against every demonic manifestation and fear-mongering that threatens to paralyse even the very elect and trample underfoot every false narrative, for “…the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly but powerful through God to the tearing down of strongholds. We are tearing down false arguments and every high-minded thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Messiah!” (2Cor.10:4-5)
This is the perspective we align ourselves with in the sure hope we have in Yeshua because Scripture has already declared how the story will end and God is always true to His word!
