We declare O Lord that You are in full control of everything and we worship You even as Scripture proclaims, “Stand up! Bless the Lord your God, from everlasting to everlasting! May Your glorious Name be blessed; may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. 6 You alone are Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heaven with all its array, the earth and everything on it, the seas and everything in them. You give life to them all, and the multitudes of heaven worship You” [Neh 9:6]
You are our strength and our song and our Deliverer When You rise up Your enemies are scattered for You are the Living God who is faithful and true! Your greatness is seen as You send forth Your burning anger which consumes Your enemies like chaff.
Who is like You among the gods, O Lord? Who can compare with You, majestic in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders? In Your lovingkindness You lead those You have redeemed, and in Your strength You guide them Your paths of righteousness.
In these dark days, remove the veil of blindness of the Jewish people to behold You that they once more see Your glory! Rise up, Lion of Judah, and defend Your people. Deliver Jerusalem from her enemies so that all the nations of the earth may know that You alone are God. Hear our prayer, O God, for the glory of Your great Name!
We proclaim that the ancient prince of the Persian kingdom and every other demonic force coming against Your holy City be bound and rendered powerless in the face of the hosts of Heaven!
We ask that the fear of the One, True, Living God would fall on Israel that they turn from their wicked ways and call upon You in deep repentance and mourning. Turn Your people O God and have mercy upon them. Turn them O Lord from their wicked and sinful ways. Turn them away Lord from evil perversions and lifestyles. Turn them from their sacrifice to Moloch of the unborn through abortion to revere the sanctity of life. Turn them from the drugs and alcohol that destroy so many young Israelis. Forgive those who boast how their military victories are by their strength and might! Forgive them for the human trafficking that operates centrally through Your holy city.
Father even as you wept over Jerusalem, so we weep as we long for the day when they will say, Baruch ha’ba b’shem Adonai! Hasten that time Lord! Establish for Yourself a righteous nation who walks in Your ways of righteousness and truth!
We proclaim Jerusalem as Your city, the city of the Great King. Though nations gather against the city to divide her, protect Jerusalem and make her an immovable rock (Zech. 12:3). Let Jerusalem be a praise in the earth (Isa. 62:7).
We proclaim her destiny to minister Your Word and truth to the nations with righteousness and justice. Establish Jerusalem as holy unto You – Make her the city of Your comfort, glory and splendour (Isa. 52:1; 60: 1)
Hear our cry for Israel to be governed by leaders who fear You and a government that is founded upon truth, righteousness and justice. Replace division and confusion with unity and righteousness. Lord, You wept over Jerusalem, so fulfil the yearning of Your heart to receive the worship and love of the Jewish people.
“Let Israel declare … ‘Our help is in the name of the Lord’” (Ps. 124:1-8).
Keep them as the apple of Your eye; hide them under the shadow of Your wings from even as their enemies surround them throughout the nations. (Ps. 17:8-9)
Dispatch Your angelic host to protect her from the enemies who seek to devour her.
‘Hide [Israel] in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of men…keep [her] secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.’ (Ps. 31:20).
Bring the counsel of ungodly nations set against her to nothing, and their plans to no effect (Ps. 33:10). For have You not declared, “There is no witchcraft that can succeed against Jacob.” (Num 23:23). Keep Israel from ungodly alliances from those who seek to entrap her.
Lord, we pray for the enemies of Israel and the Jewish people, for You have commanded us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. We pray for the oppressed people of Iran (Mat. 5:44) who are turning to You and we decree that You cast down the spirit of deception, false religion the anti-Christ spirit to set the people free.
We stand against the workings of the “Prince of Persia” (Dan. 10:13) or Haman-like strongholds (Est 3:5-6) over Iran, and decree: ‘Let all who hate Zion be turned back in shame for You alone are the Most High over all the earth’ (Ps. 129:5-6).
We decree that every scheme of darkness to de-legitimise or dismantle Israel as a Jewish state be broken by the blood of Yeshua. We thank You that You are restoring Israel despite all opposition, for ‘the plans of the Lord stand firm forever’ (Ps. 33:11). To You alone be the glory.
Sovereign God, You alone determine Israel’s set times and seasons. Revive and prepare Israel to welcome Your return, for You have said, ‘You will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord’ (Matt.23:39).
