Weekly Devotion 318 – A TIME TO BEHOLD

A TIME TO BEHOLD by Raphael ben Levi

Many times at the end of something He had taught, Yeshua would conclude with the words, “If anyone has ears, let him hear,” inviting people to experience transformation through embracing the theory and translating it into action. Most people are satisfied with just the theory. He could well have also added, “He who has sight, let him see.” God was ‘hiding’ in the world and has remained so until this day. He is the biggest secret in the world. He is so obvious and yet so hidden although He has clearly revealed Himself, because most people see only what they want to see.

And so my prayer is for Yeshua to provide us with clear sight and this begins with a change in me, not someone else, which keeps me on my knees. All I desire is for more of Him, to behold His glory and taste the unsearchable riches of His love that outshines the tears of my failures.

One day soon, the eyes of His covenant people will be opened that will usher in one of the greatest, earth-shattering events in history:

“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.” (Zech. 12:10)

Eyes will be opened, ears no longer closed will hear the heartbeat of Messiah and He shall turn their mourning into dancing and replace their sackcloth with ‘garments’ of joy! (Psalm 30:11)

“He who testifies and affirms these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.”Amen. Come,Yeshua!” (Rev. 22:20)
